In terms of Primary education, the island of Lipsi has 

• An all-day nursery school, which is one of the first all-day kindergartens operating in Greece
  
  

• An all-day primary school (6 year-classes), which has been designated as a historic listed monument since 2001.

For Secondary Education the island has :

• A High School with Senior High School classes, housed in its own, relatively new building (1994) recently renovated in 2015.
