The Agricultural Cooperative of Lipsi was founded about 30 years ago by Lipsi farmers and is now a member of the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of the Dodecanese.

In recent years, a modern olive press has been in operation on the island, for the needs of  the Agricultural Cooperative and local olive growers.
